I'm Ellie Hersey and I'm a 20 something Autistic Filmmaker from Northumberland

I began 'Filmmaker Dream Studios' in 2009/ 2010 when I created my YouTube Channel for my films.

 

The origin of the name comes from 'I'm a Filmmaker, I have a Dream' and the Studios part is inspired by my Grandad who liked to make pastels in his studio. 

 

I started being  interested in film from ages 6-8 (when I played around with my Dad's camera) because I liked filming shapes and patterns. Then I started creating shorts (a mix of action and animation) with my sister starring in almost all of them, until I created my first feauture 'The Spirit of Yellow' that I released on YouTube and Vimeo in 2013 .
